Obstacle courseClear some space in a room and use household objects to create a mini obstacle course. Drape blankets over tables and chairs or open out the bottom of a large cardboard box to create tunnels. Use three sofa cushions to make an arch (think stonehenge!). Let your kids jump between 'stepping stones' made from cushions or pillows. Draw a line with some string and see if they can tight rope walk along it. Older children can throw balls into a basket. Be creative! Once you've started doing the obstacle course you will probably find you have plenty more ideas for activities.
