    To make the base:

    350g Plain flour
    1 Sachet of dried yeast
    210ml of warm water
    Olive Oil

    To make the sauce:

    425g Chopped tomatoes
    Olive Oil
    Cooked onion, finely chopped
    Herbs

  • Sieve the flour into a bowl and stir in the dried yeast.

  • Pour in 210ml of warm water and add 1 and half tablespoons of olive oil.

  • Mix well to the dough forms a ball.

  • Sprinkle a little flour over the work surface and knead dough for about 10 minutes, until the mixture is smooth.

  • Put the dough in a bowl and cover with cling film. Leave somewhere warm for an hour, until the yeast has doubled in size.

  • While the dough is rising, prepare the sauce. Combine all the above ingredients in a bowl and stir. If prefered, use a blender to mix the ingredients to a smooth consistency.

  • Once the dough has risen, re-knead it for 2-3 minutes.

  • Split the dough in half and roll out into two pizzas.

  • Spread the sauce over the two bases. Add cheese and any other toppings.

  • Bake for around 30 minutes at 180C.
