Start a scrapbook
Stick photos into a book and let your children decorate the pages. The list of craft items on this page are also great for decorating scrapbook pages. Ideas for scrapbooking include:

Keeping a record of special days out or what your child did over the school holidays. As well as photos you can include postcards, ticket stubs, paintings your child has done of what they did that day - anything that brings back memories of the day out. Decorate the pages and let your child write a little about what they enjoyed about their day. Or if they are too young to write themselves, then do it for them and make a note on the scrapbook page of where they went, what they did and what they enjoyed best.
Make a boasting book for a grandparent (or other family member). Get a small book and stick in copies of your child's best photos, then let your child decorate the book and the pages. This makes a great present.
If your child does a lot of drawing and painting and there is nowhere to store the pictures, let your child turn these pictures into a scrapbook. One day it will be a great record of how your child's artistic skill has progressed!

Younger children might enjoy pasting magazine pictures they like into a scrap book (you may need to cut the pictures out for them). Any magazine or catalogue with pictures of babies, children or toys in are good, as is anything that might have favourite cartoon characters in.
